Describe a childhood experience that you enjoyed
You should say:
Where it was
What you did
Who you were with
And explain why you enjoyed it
Describe a speech that you gave in public
You should say:
Who you gave the speech to
What the speech was about
Why you gave the speech
And explain how you felt about the speech
Describe an exciting adventure you would like to go on
You should say:
Where you want to go
Who you want to go there with
When you want to do this
And explain why you want to go on this adventure
1 When I look back to my childhood, there's this one incredibly memorable experience that stands out vividly. (这个句式可以记下 方便在回忆类的回答中使用)It was the time when I had the exhilarating opportunity to climb Mount Hua, a majestic mountain located in China. This adventure happened during a family vacation one summer, back when I was around 12 years old.
2 So, there we were, my family and I, all pumped up and ready for this daring adventure. Mount Hua is renowned for its stunning landscapes and challenging hiking trails, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The trails were steep and sometimes quite tricky to navigate. I distinctly remember gripping onto ropes and carefully maneuvering through these narrow paths that seemed to test our limits. And all the while, we were surrounded by this inspiring beauty of nature.
3 The best part was that we were all in this together. My family and I stuck with each other throughout the climb, offering encouragement and a helping hand when needed. It really brought us closer as we faced the physical challenges as a team. We cheered each other on, celebrated the small victories, and helped each other through the tough spots.
4 But what truly made this experience enjoyable was the combination of adventure and those breathtaking views. As we ascended, the landscape unfolded before our eyes, lush greenery, rugged terrain, and clouds that looked almost touchable. The feeling of accomplishment grew with each step was just incredibly thrilling.
5 More than just an adventure, this climb taught me so much. It pushed me to my limits and showed me how resilient I could be. Reaching the summit filled me with an overwhelming sense of pride and satisfaction. It was like a crash course in stepping out of the comfort zone, teaching me life lessons that I carry to this day.
6 So, all in all, the childhood experience of climbing Mount Hua was an absolute thrill. The location, the bonding with my family, and the personal growth – they all came together to create this unforgettable memory. It sparked a love for exploring and a deeper connection with the wonders of the natural world.
(The audience comprised fellow students, faculty members, and even some parents.)
Mount Hua is renowned for its stunning landscapes and challenging hiking trails, and as I watched others navigate through them in videos, it was clear that the mountain certainly lived up to its reputation. The trails were steep, and sometimes it was quite tricky for the hikers to find their way. Gripping onto ropes, they carefully maneuvered through narrow paths that seemed to test their limits. Throughout their journey, the hikers were surrounded by an awe-inspiring beauty of nature.
